Meet Clarissa

Clarissa has been working at Bounce since November 2017. Her professional background is actually Veterinary medicine that she worked in practice for 16 years before retiring (sounds so weird to say retire for someone not of retirement age! ) and joining our team at Bounce. While she began working as part of the reception team, she transitioned into Salon manager early on. She is the mind behind the creation of our teams branding photos and overall look behind our website, along with writer of blogs and copy.

She is an established professional photographer, specializing in births, newborns, children & weddings. She also began a social media content creator business celebrating professionals, businesses and life events. Both of these allow her to use her creative side as well as meet and get to be part of the lives and events of so many incredible humans.

At home, she’s got a full house; a husband, four kids, two kittens that she rescued from near death and bottle fed, and a bearded dragon! She married her husband in 2023, with their children, friends and family present. Raising kids, especially as they’ve entered their teen years can be frustrating so doing things together as a family is extremely important to her. As a family, board games, camping, spending time outside, watching movies and travelling is a huge part of what makes them …them. She’s an extroverted introvert, ADHD, writer and creative so you can find her doing a large variety of things, sometimes trying to do all at the same time!

Clarissa doesn’t eat red meat or pork (since she was 11!), she doesn’t drink coffee or alcohol (how does she survive?) but she does love a good mango dragonfruit refresher with lemonade from Starbucks!
