Meet Mikaela

Mikaela started at Bounce in the fall of 2025.

Working in the hair industry gives me a little bit of a “superhero” feeling- the ability to see people’s self confidence and self love soar when they look in the mirror. I worry that the idea of being welcomed, feeling included and heard and loving their salon experience isn’t as important as I feel it should be. I want everyone to know that they are welcomed, valued and heard the moment they sit in my chair and I want them to FEEL it and trust that they are in good hands.

I love being creative. I love the notion that being a stylist isn’t just about “doing hair” but the artistry that comes with it. The idea of giving my client that big transformation or creative cut that they love runs deep in my desires. I am looking forward to the future in this industry and adding more “tools” in my artist belt, such as extensions and more in depth transformations.

Although connecting with my clients socially when they’e in my chair is such a rush, outside of the salon I tend to be pretty quiet, enjoying quiet relaxing time at home. When the weather is nice, you may find my out on the golf course or hanging with my two pretty dogs; Levi & Ted.

Abslute truth bomb? I’m self-proclaimed awkward and silly. And I’ll never ever judge anyone else who feels the same- we could just be silly and awkward together! I can’t wait to meet you!
