Meet Mya

After completing the Hairstyling program at St. Clair College in August 2024, I began my journey in the industry as an apprentice, turning a lifelong love of art and creativity into a fulfilling career. For me, hairstyling is more than just a profession—it's a way to help people feel more confident and express themselves, and that’s what truly drives me.

My friends, family (and my dog!) are a huge part of my life, and their support has fueled my passion for making meaningful connections through my work. I find real joy in being part of a career where I can have a positive impact on others, whether it's through a fresh haircut, a new color, or just a great conversation in the chair.

Outside the salon, I'm always looking to learn new techniques and stay inspired—whether that's through exploring the latest trends, experimenting with styles, or continuing my education in the industry. I also love spending time at the beach, checking out new cafes and restaurants, watching movies, playing video games, and hitting the road for road trips to visit family across North America.

I'm excited to keep growing in this craft and to bring creativity, care, and good vibes to everyone who sits in my chair
